waving punishment
I've found that while speeding, people in my neighborhood don't return my wave of "hello," as opposed to when I drive the speed limit and receive a wave back. Sometimes, even a smile.

so true for me too! why can't neighbors just be nice instead of using waving as an opportunity to judge us?
